Darlene Pearse - Mixed Media
Mixed Media - oil paint and acrylic textures.
Gilles Peltier - Sculpture in Acrylic
Everything you see in the acrylic has been entirely hand carved inside the block. Nothing has been inserted inside. With an electric foredom and different sizes of drills, the back and the under part of the acrylic is carved in by the artist to create the effects, the textures and the required dimensions. Once the textures are ready, the artist returns into the same cavities to paint it with small brushes, syringes, pipe cleaners and fingers.
Each piece of art is original and unique. All the sculptures created are signed, identified and numbered by the artist. The acrylic used is made in the USA and is as pure as crystal and will never get yellow. To give all the value to the piece of art, LED lights are added to each sculpture to see all the luminosity of the sculpture.
